Here are some very usefull hints and tips when drawing your animated comic book characters.

First Tip

Always draw your characters with a pencil first.

 

Second Tip

If its a funny comic make your charahter drawings funny and "cartoony" and above all: Keep them simple and keep all the pictures at the angle unless it's a close up.

Third Tip

If it is a serious, realistic comic,make it a bit less cartoony but keep it slightly cartoony. Add more colour and more complicated pictures from different angles.

Fourth Tip

When making your comic don't be afraid to make your characters express their feelings!Add facial expressions and make them say things that express themselves.

                                            

Fith Tip

When your done sketching,outline your drawings lightly with a dark pen.
